LOOP PDF Salesforce - Setup

« Back to LOOP PDF Salesforce

NOTE: If you have already gone through the set-up for LOOPlus, you are done.

Getting started with LOOP is fast and easy. Below will show you step-by-step how to install LOOP for your entire team.

(1) Authorize Drawloop IP Range
Go to the About LOOP tab and click the Authorize IP Ranges button.

(2) Authorize Buttons
Go to Setup, Customize, Object (Opportunity), Page Layouts and click Edit on the Layout. LOOP button(s) will need to be added to the Layouts for Contacts, Accounts, Leads, Opportunities and any Custom Objects. This example goes through the setup for Opportunities.

Click on Detail Page Buttons and then Edit Properties

Click on the LOOP button(s), click Add and then click OK

Click Save to Add the LOOP buttons

(3) Authorize Tabs
You need to authorize the Documents +, Document Queue, LOOP & DDP Custom Tabs.

Go to Setup, Manage Users and click Profiles.

For the appropriate users, you will need to authorize the Documents +, LOOP and DDP Custom Tabs. The Documents + tab allows a user to quickly select and delete all LOOP & DDP files for the entire organization – the files are stored for temporary use in the user’s My Personal Documents within Salesforce.com’s Documents tab. It is important to note that files deleted will not delete the files retrieved from Activity History (these files are stored on Drawloop servers).

The LOOP Custom Tab allows a user to run LOOP without being tied to a Lead, Opportunity, Account or Contact. The DDP Custom Tab allows a user to create, edit and deploy Dynamic Document Packages (DDPs).

From Profiles, make LOOP Visible and then Turn On or Off for the LOOP, DDP, Document Queue and/or Documents + Custom Tabs — then click Save.
