We are excited to announce a new API integration with Polaris Management. Polaris is a management consulting firm helping life sciences companies with their compliance, finance, sales and marketing processes. Polaris offers a suite of services that specifically target the compliance risks confronting the Life Science industries.

Polaris is utilizing our API to help streamline document creation and packaging for its latest technology platform. We are helping Polaris deliver document conversion and packaging processes within its suite of technology products.

Power of Gmail, Box and Drawloop

Our team continues to work hard expanding our integrations and “mashups” with other cloud technologies. One interesting integration relates to Box.net and how our OpenBox service can easily be deployed and integrated to the Box.net Gmail Gadget.

We continue to aggressively integrate with cloud technologies to help our document automation enterprise customers seamlessly work in the cloud for all of their business needs. These integrations have allowed our document automation services to expand functionality for the benefit of all users who have embraced the cloud. For example, with our Box.net and Google Apps integrations, we can now offer our customers cloud content management, collaboration and communication services while keeping our focus on document creation and automation.

Gmail + Box.net + Drawloop

The Box.net Gmail gadget is located in the left-hand sidebar of your Gmail account, where you can access all your Box files and folders, as well as utilize the Drawloop OpenBox service.

Box.net Gmail Gadget Set-up

Step 1:
Log into Gmail -> Settings -> Labs -> Enable “Add any gadget by URL”

If you don’t have Labs enabled in Gmail / Google Apps, click here.

Step2:
Settings -> Gadget -> past in the URL below

Now, you are ready to use the integration between Gmail, Box.net and Drawloop. From the Box.net Gmail Gadget, simply select the file or files you want to convert and/or combine to a single PDF and right-click to do so with Drawloop. When complete, you can right-click to send as a link through Gmail.

Combine to PDF: Subscription service ($1 per user / month) allowing a Box.net user to select multiple files from Box to combine to a PDF. The interface allows you to pick individual pages to control and customize the final PDF. This is an excellent service for sales teams as it allows you to convert, organize, and combine files to PDF. PDF Now ISO Standard

We are pleased to learn that PDF is now an ISO (International Organization for Standardization) standard format for electronic documents. ISO has christened version 1.7 of PDF, the current working version, ISO 32000-1.

Enhancements to LOOP within Salesforce.com

We are pleased to announce an improved user interface and additional functionality to LOOP for Salesforce.com. With LOOP, you can convert and combine files to PDF with the option to email or archive in Salesforce.com.

New User Interface

We have created a new interface for LOOP to make it look and feel more like a normal Salesforce page.

Log a File

Users can now create an activity history record that links to a PDF created within LOOP with the simple click of a button. The PDF is stored on Drawloop’s servers and the link in the comments of the activity history allows anyone to download the PDF. The PDF will not count toward your allowed Salesforce storage.

Attach a File

LOOP now offers a quick and easy way to attach a PDF to a Salesforce record. By clicking the “Attach File” button or link, your PDF will be stored as an attachment under the object you clicked LOOP It from.

Add to Salesforce Documents

A PDF created with LOOP can be saved to the Salesforce Documents tab. Click the “Add to SF Documents” button or link, select the folder to save the document to, and the document is stored in Salesforce.
